Hello Willow readers! The Saskatchewan Young Readers’ Choice Awards is excited to be celebrating our 20th Anniversary promoting Canadian literature to the children and youth of our province. To help commemorate this special milestone, there will be two contests running throughout the coming school year. The 20th Anniversary Willow Author Contest is one of these exciting opportunities. The Willow Awards has teamed up with a number of 2021 Shining, Diamond and Snow author finalists to provide you with the chance to win a virtual visit or reading with one of the featured authors.
The 20th Anniversary Willow Author Contest opens on October 1, 2021 and runs to March 31, 2022. Each month a new author will be featured for a chance to win a visit or a reading. The Contest opens at the start of each month and closes at the end of each month for getting entries in for the author of the month. Please see the schedule below for featured authors and the month to enter. Winners will be notified in the first week of the next month via email.
